Delete your Chorey account

Parent account holders can permanently delete their Chorey account and associated data inside the app. If you no longer have the app, request deletion here instead.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address connected to your Chorey account. Use the subject “Chorey account deletion request” and include the account email if you are writing from a different address. Never send a password or child access code.

Email deletion request

We aim to reply within 1–2 business days. After verifying account ownership, we will complete the request within 30 days and confirm by email.

Delete inside Chorey

    Open the parent app

    Sign in to the parent account you want to delete.

    Open Settings

    Scroll to the account section and choose Delete account.

  3. 03

    Confirm deletion

    Read the warning, then choose Delete my account.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data deleted with your account

  • Your sign-in account, profile, avatar, sessions, and device tokens.
  • Households you own, including child profiles, child access codes, chores, photos, notes, wishlists, goals, balances, and ledger history.
  • Chorey subscription entitlement data linked to the deleted household.
If you joined another parent’s household: deleting your account removes your profile and membership. The shared household and its family data remain available to its owner and other members.

Data that may be retained

  • Support or feedback messages may be kept while relevant, with the link to your deleted account removed.
  • De-identified crash and analytics records follow the retention periods described in our privacy policy.
  • Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain purchase and transaction records under their own legal and fraud-prevention obligations.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your Chorey account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it before deleting so future renewals stop.

  • Android:open Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Chorey → Cancel subscription. You can also use the Google Play subscriptions page.
  • iPhone or iPad: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chorey → Cancel Subscription. You can also use the Apple subscriptions page.
